Digital Transformation Summit 2021 themed “Drive digital transformation and spur high-quality development” was held in Shenzhen on May 22. The event was co-organized by Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology and Shenzhen Information Industry Association, with the support from Shenzhen Industrial and Information Technology Bureau and the Government Services and Data Management Bureau. A group of government and business leaders were present at the summit to decode the direction and value of digital transformation, including Li Ying, a senior grade inspector at the Department of Information Technology Development of the MIIT, Shan Zhiguang, director of Department of Information and Industry Development of the State Information Center, Jia Xingdong, director of the Economic Commission of the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Wang Yaowen, deputy director of the Government Services and Data Management Bureau, Li Zhengxiang, director of Shenzhen Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, Ma Xingwang, vice president and general manager of Shenzhen branch of Kingdee China, and Zhao Liang, assistant president of Kingdee China.
Shan Zhiguang, director of Department of Information and Industry Development of the State Information Center, gave a comprehensive introduction to the digital economy and digital transformation and analyzed the new blueprint, new trends of the digital economy and new paths to digitalization under the 14th Five-year Plan. He added that digitalization and dual circulation and dual transformation of the digital economy create an opportunity but also pose a challenge to all enterprises. Traditional informatization is different from digital transformation in three important shifts, that is, the shift from Systematic Thinking to Digital Thinking, the shift from Technical Application to Digital Reengineering, and the shift from Higher Efficiency to Higher Value. Digital transformation needs to activate the potential and value in data effectively. The digital economy in China is entering a new stage characterized by deeper application, normative development and release of dividends.
The year of 2021 marks the beginning of the 14th Five-year plan period, as well as the kick-start of digital transformation in China. The digital economy has become a key strategic move and development direction of China, as well as an innovation powerhouse driving the transformation and high-quality development of enterprises. Zhao Liang, assistant president of Kingdee China, compared the digital transformation of large and super large enterprises to a trilogy. The first step is top-level design, considering the overall situation by combining enterprise strategies with cloud computing, big data and AI; the second step is to choose the best platform, with focus on technical middle office, data middle office and smart middle office, among other functions and performance; and the third step is data-first, changing the stereotype of software before data and filling the gap in software with big data demand.
It was reported that Kingdee launched Kingdee Cloud Cosmic PaaS v4.0 at the 2021 Kingdee Cloud Cosmic Summit the other day. With in-house innovation and home-grown, reliable services, Kingdee Cloud Cosmic helps enterprises focus on the value and capability the digital system can create for the business, rather than confine themselves to a single vendor or platform, and empowers their digital capability in all aspects. With the help of digital platforms, enterprises are being transformed into dual roles of users and customized developers, and each enterprise is becoming a software company. Kingdee wants to be the software company behind the software companies.
In the future, Kingdee will help more enterprises realize digitalization, foster new opportunities, and achieve joint creation and win-win in the new era.
